Healthy turmeric tea with black pepper, cinnamon, cloves and ginger

Turmeric & Ginger Tea Recipe

Total Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 1 cup

1 tsp fresh grated turmeric root (or 1/3 tsp dried)
1 tsp fresh grated ginger root (or 1/3 tsp dried)
1/4 tsp black pepper (or 1 tsp coconut oil) (for turmeric absorption)
1 slice of lemon and/or raw honey (to taste)

In a small saucepan bring a cup of water to boil. Remove from heat and add turmeric and ginger. Let steep with the lid on for approximately 5 minutes. Strain the tea and add some honey, lemon, pepper, or coconut oil as desired.
