How many did you say yes to?
If your number’s under 3 and you’ve previously had the virus or gone through some kind of medical intervention, you’ve probably recovered.
If your number of “Yes” answers is above 3, and especially the closer it is to 15, this is a significant problem, and I’m going to show you why in this blog.
I’ll also go over some of my favorite ways to detox and recover from the virus and long-haul symptoms.
Understanding Blood Work
First, it’s important to understand immune blood work tests.
There is a lot of research that shows that things like your lymphocytes, CRP, D-dimer, abdominal fat, and other testable numbers can predict and show the need for intensive care and recovery post-virus.
You can get some of these blood tests, and you can watch my video on which are the best ones to get and what they mean.
Now, here is my list of top 10 detoxifiers, recovery herbs, vitamins, and nutrients that I think you should put in your system if you need to recover from the virus.
1. Vitamin D
Vitamin D is crucial for autoimmune-related conditions, and oftentimes we’re experiencing autoimmune-related issues post-virus.
Those that struggle with long haul symptoms are usually very deficient in vitamin D.
Get blood work done to measure the number—we have to get it above 50.
If it’s not, you might need to load up on it. That would mean taking as much as 8,000-10,000 IUs per day, which would be 2 capsules of the complex I make.
We also want to make sure we’re taking vitamin D with magnesium, because our body uses magnesium to activate vitamin D.
You should make sure your vitamin D levels are high enough immediately.
2. Vitamin C
Higher amounts of Vitamin C help bolster the immune system. I have a video about some of vitamin C’s other benefits as well.
This is a good one to get in to strengthen your immune system.
Vitamin C works with quercetin to get absorbed. Quercetin is a bioflavonoid found in citrus fruits, and also known as vitamin P.
3. NAC
N-acetyl cysteine, or NAC. is a building block of a natural detoxifier called glutathione inside of your body.
NAC has been under fire by the FDA and its impact on the body, but it’s really just an amino acid that builds that ‘street sweeper’ inside of our system.
If you eat glutathione or take it in a supplement form, it’s so big it can’t get into your cells to do its cellular detox.
I like to focus on taking the building blocks that will help you make your own glutathione.
This is important because oftentimes there’s so much free radical damage and chemicals inside us that we need to detox to recover from.
Then you can use things like activated charcoal to soak up toxins and get them out of your system.
4. Wormwood
Wormwood is actually a chloroquine alternative. There are a lot of strong studies on wormwood and its ability as an antiparasitic and antifungal.
Chloroquine and ivermectin are heavier medications that people take to try to recover from virus-related conditions.
Wormwood is a fantastic alternative, especially when you take it with other herbs that knock down yeast overgrowth or any other bacterial imbalances.
A combo of those is in a microbe cleanse that I’ve created that you can find here.
Wormwood is a great option to get that antiparasitic effect without the side effects of what a drug does.
5. Bioflavonoids
Bioflavonoids are phytochemicals that are found in fruits, vegetables, and herbs. They stop the spike proteins that can be put into the body by the virus so the body can detox.
They also play a big role in stopping viral replication.
You can get bioflavonoids from quercetin and citrus fruits like lemons, limes and oranges.
You can also supplement them! Taking them with vitamin C is the best way to do it.
6. Quercetin
Quercetin is the bioflavonoid that helps vitamin C get absorbed. It’s also an ACE inhibitor, so it will help with blood pressure and inflammatory responses.
So we want quercetin, bioflavonoids, and vitamin C all working together.
7. Zinc
Zinc helps vitamin D get absorbed, and it also stops viral replication inside your cells, which is incredibly important early on in recovery from long haul symptoms.
Make sure you take zinc with quercetin, which is the shuttle that gets zinc into your cells so it can stop viral replication.
Chloroquine is a shuttle for zinc as well, but it’s a drug, so quercetin is a healthier option.
8. Magnesium
Magnesium helps vitamin D get absorbed and activated.
It’s crucial to replenish your magnesium because it gets used up so quickly.
Most of us are probably already deficient in the first place, even before we get sick!
9. Omega and Turmeric
In the latter stages of a virus, your body is waging war on everything that is foreign, which creates inflammation.
We want to be fighting that inflammation so it doesn’t overwhelm your system or your lungs.
This is why a lot of people take steroids at that late stage, but let’s get ahead of it by regularly taking a natural anti-inflammatory.
We can do this by adding omega and turmeric together.
I recommend taking 750 milligrams of omega-3 fish oil, which gives you EPA and DHA fatty acids.
You can take a couple hundred milligrams of turmeric as long as it’s emulsified, because you’ll absorb it into your blood easier.
The fat from the omega-3 fish oil will help emulsify the turmeric so it can be more easily absorbed, or you could get an already-emulsified form of it.
10. Milk Thistle
Milk thistle helps your body handle the lingering toxins you ran into due to medications or medical interventions.
It also galvanizes your liver to help protect it moving forward.
Summary
I put together a protocol with a step-by-step process of exactly how much of these you should take.
That’s in a guide I made for before, during, and after the virus to recover from the symptoms, as well as to detoxify.
Those 3 protocols are part of my Immune You mini course, which is a free course that can walk you through what to take and how to handle virus recovery.
If you have lost your hair or have had an impact on your hair from the virus, I did also make a video that covers this which you can find here.
