How to INSTANTLY Lower Blood Pressure (In 24 Hours) - The NATURAL Way
Share
Understanding the cause of your blood pressure is important because it can help us discover problems in our body before they arise.
I’m going to go over the most important organ in your body, and why it’s the key to lowering your blood pressure.
The Most Important Organ In Your Body
The most important organ in your body is your brain because it controls everything inside of your body. Your brain sends messages down the spinal cord, to your nerves, and to every organ cell tissue you have. It beats your heart, breathes your lungs, and tells you to love someone.
The main interstate that your brain uses to communicate with your organs is called the vagus nerve.
The Vagus Nerve
The vagus nerve controls your blood pressure. It comes out from the top of your neck down to your heart.
It does this through two pathways, the accelerator and the brakes for your nervous system.
The accelerator system, known as your sympathetic nervous system, travels down to the heart to create stress and increases blood pressure.
Your sympathetic nervous system activates during intense situations like If you saw a rattlesnake. Your sympathetic nervous system is what gives you the energy to run away.
Stress and The Nervous System
The problem with our sympathetic nervous system is that it’s being activated while we’re not in stressful situations.
Our environment is constantly hitting the accelerator. We constantly have stress stimulating the sympathetic nervous system, and we’re missing the brakes.
The brakes are called your parasympathetic nervous system and are what lowers your heart rate. We don’t normally stimulate it during the day, which is why many people have high blood pressure.
I’m going to show you how you can stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system right now.
Paced Breathing
Paced breathing is just a deep 5-second breath in and out.
- Breath in for 5 seconds
- Breathe out for 5 seconds
- Repeat for 1-2 minutes multiple times a day every day
This exercise strengthens your parasympathetic nervous system. If you never stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system, it’s going to have a hard time lowering your blood pressure.
It’s more important to get the full 5-second breath out than it is in.
Don’t think about your work deadlines. Think about something that makes you smile. That will literally lower your blood pressure 5 -10 points.
