Is Your GUT Making You DEPRESSED? Shocking New Study!

Could your gut be making you depressed?
Large new studies are showing that the bacteria and the microbiome in your digestive tract could be causing increased levels of depression.
There is a huge correlation between what you’re eating, your gut, its environment, and how your brain is functioning.
The Gut-Brain Connection
Short-chain fatty acids are produced by the bacteria butyrate and acetate inside of your gut.
These drive and influence activity inside of your brain.
Serotonin is a chemical that can boost mood, and controls many other mental and bodily processes.
99% of the serotonin in your body is generated from inside of the gut.
The chemical GABA, which is a calming agent that’s very good for anxiety and supports those with depression, is also generated by the bacteria in the gut.
A recent study that examined the fecal matter of people with depression found that 16 different toxic bacteria that have been linked to depression consistently showed up in that fecal matter.
One of those bacteria was Eggerthella, which is also prevalent in wounds.
When we have things like Crohn’s disease, ulcers, and ablations, that bacteria tends to accumulate in the gut.
That throws our gut health off, especially if antibiotics are in use. It messes up the microbiome, and bad bacteria are able to thrive.
This puts us in an even more depressive state because they’re blocking the neurotransmitters of our brain.
Now, there is a direct correlation between what we eat and our mood.
When you have a lot of stress in your day and go home and comfort eat, it can build up more bad bacteria over time, which in turn reinforces more depression and the poor eating choices we make.
If we want to get rid of this cycle and bad bacteria, we need to break down the gut.
Antibiotic Recovery
If you’ve been through an antibiotic treatment, the first thing you should check out is my antibiotic recovery training.
You’re going to want to get prebiotics in to feed good bacteria, probiotics to help establish good bacteria, and postbiotics.
Postbiotics are the enzymes and the nutrients that bacteria produce to give you these brain-helping benefits.
You can find all of that in one blend to take together here.
Gut Reset
A gut reset helps reestablish a healthy microbiome in the gut, building it back up in a 5-step process of flushing out toxins and removing damage.
Then we start to reseal the environment so it’s more stable with processes like collagen-loading.
We build up the microbes, bacteria, and enzymes that are needed, and then reintroduce foods that could have been causing irritation.
