Toe fungus is a fun topic to talk about, but less fun to deal with. Luckily, I’m going to go over 8 natural remedies that you can use to get rid of toe fungus fast.
Usually toe fungus is caused by something that’s happening inside of the body. There’s an overgrowth, an internal fungus has gotten out of control, and it’s throwing off the entire system.
Toe fungus may show up in the damp areas of your feet, but it can reside in your gut without you even knowing it. To fix this, you have to start by addressing the cause.
The best way to address the inside is by taking care of your digestive health through a gut reset.
It resets the environment, health, permeability, and sensitivity of the gut.
After you flush all of the toxins out, you seal the gut back up so it can filter properly.
Then you reintroduce food that doesn’t irritate the gut and build up enzymes and probiotics that will support gut health.
That cleanse is part of the gut reset, but you can use it to reduce candida in your body anytime.
If you’re just starting out, I don’t recommend jumping straight into a gut reset.
Instead, you should get your lifestyle habits under control first, because consuming sugar is what usually creates candida imbalances.
Extra weight creates candida imbalances, and candida imbalances create extra weight. Antibiotic and drug use can also create imbalances.
This is why I recommend 90 days of starting to change these lifestyle habits before you do an advanced gut reset. The microbe cleanse can be added anywhere along that process to reduce candida in your body.
But what can you do specifically on the area of skin that has a fungus?
Natural Topical Treatments for Nail Fungus
Tea Tree Oil
I like using tea tree oil for any skin infections. You can use a brush, dropper, or cotton ball put it on your feet at night, and let it air out.
Remember that you’ll need to stick with this or any of these other remedies, for at least 2 weeks to see any changes.
I use colloidal silver for sore throats or any kind of infection. My silver serum comes in a spray bottle that you can spray directly onto your feet.
You can use a lot of it if you want, put socks on, and let it marinate in that area.
The best part about the silver serum is that it can be used for multiple things, which is why it’s a big part of my wellness cabinet.
You can put the oil straight onto the area, or you can take it internally. The oil of oregano that I created is antimicrobial, and antifungal.
You could also get a little jar of it, but be careful, because it stinks!
My oil of oregano has a gram of monolaurin, which is an immune booster that’s very good against viruses as well. So you’re getting two immune-boosting supplements for the price of one!
Hydrogen Peroxide & ACV
You can put a little bit of either of these in a container or bowl to soak in, pour it on the affected area, or dab it on with a cotton ball.
A simple mixture you can make is:
- ⅛ cup of hydrogen peroxide or apple cider vinegar
- 4 cups of water.
Soak your feet in that mixture for 10-20 minutes.
You can also take a sip of apple cider vinegar to help out your blood sugar while you’re soaking your feet!
For this, you can take 5-6 black tea bags and put them in a couple of quarts of water, boil the water, let it cool off, and soak your feet in it.
You can do a soak following the same steps as with the black tea. You can also make a paste out of it with a bit of water, put that on your toes for 10-20 minutes, and then rinse it off.
You can also make a paste out of cornmeal and apply that to your feet. This one is incredibly effective and super easy to do.
Those are 8 different solutions you can try to fix your toenail fungus. For the next 2 weeks, you should spend your nights just sitting and soaking!
There are a couple of things you can do internally on top of this, like adding in the microbe cleanse and oregano + monolaurin.
Hopefully, one of these 8 remedies will help get rid of your toenail fungus naturally so you can avoid chemicals and toxins.
