What Is Spondylolisthesis? (+ Natural Treatments)

What-Is-Spondylolisthesis-How-To-Naturally-Treat-It

If you’re dealing with a spondylolisthesis, like myself, it can be a very painful condition and I wanted to share a few simple tips to give relief. A common condition where the vertebra in the low back has slipped, causing a very unstable condition and discomfort. These practical exercises will help to stablize that area.

1. Knee to Chest Stretch

Pull your knees up to your chest and put pressure down onto the low back.

Hold for 30-60 seconds at a time and repeat 5 times.

2.  Low Back Molding Wedges

Place foam wedges under the sacrum to lift your buttocks slightly.
The narrow side should be under the sacrum and pointing toward the head.

Bend your legs for a little less of a pull or keep legs straight for a more intense

Stretch.  Hold for 30-60 seconds at a time and repeat 5 times.

3. Corrective Care Chiropractic

Find a chiropractor that will take pre and post x-rays to work on getting

Correction in the area.  Might not be able to get corrected completely, but

The right chiropractor will help keep this under control.
