Why Your Life Expectancy Is Worse Than Your Parents’

Why your life expectancy is worse than your parents

The life expectancy of Americans has dropped for the 3rd year straight. Americans born in 2021 can expect to live up to 76.1 years of age. That’s the lowest life expectancy since 1996.

Why is this happening? I’m going to break down what your kids are going to be exposed to today that’s driving this shortened life expectancy.

Heavy Metals

If you have amalgam metal fillings in your teeth, those contain heavy metals. Certain supplements and foods can also contain heavy metals due to being machine-processed–the machines can leech heavy metals into the food.

Over time, heavy metals can build up in the system, which is really rough on the heart.

Fragrances

If you have fragrances like candles and Glade plugins, or if you use a lot of perfume, you are taking in a lot of toxicity by breathing in chemicals and unclean aerosols.

Glyphosate

Glyphosate is a herbicide that is used on most, if not all, grain in America. So the bread, chips, crackers, and tortilla shells you eat all end up with glyphosate on them and in them.

Glyphosate has been deemed a possible carcinogen.

EMFs

Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are now becoming a problem due to the rise of WiFi, 5G, and phones and devices everywhere.

My family has a timer on our WiFi that shuts it off at night, and we sleep with our phones away from our heads to cut down on exposure.

Teflon

Many pots and pans are made of Teflon, and when you cook on those pans, you might be breathing in toxic fumes. Experiments have shown that these fumes can actually kill birds.

There’s a condition called the Teflon flu that gives you the same symptoms of the flu. It’s caused by breathing in the PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) chemicals that come off of Teflon.

Plastic

There’s a movie called Plastic Paradise that shows you all of the plastic we use in our everyday life, and how much of it gets discarded. Spoiler: it’s a lot of it.

Many plastics contain BPA, an estrogen- and hormone-disruptor. The receipts that you grab at the grocery store are full of it, and you’d be surprised at how much BPA gets absorbed into your body.

I talk more about decreasing the use of plastic in my Livingood Daily Book

Meat Antibiotics

Antibiotics are given to animals so they don’t get sick, but that can end up in your body and destroy your gut bacteria when you eat those animals.

Fluoride

Adding fluoride into public water supplies was a step taken to prevent cavities in people that never brush their teeth and have no dental help.

But if you’re regularly brushing your teeth, flossing, and practicing dental care, you don’t need more fluoride in your system. It’s one of the most toxic chemicals known to man.

We do need fluoride in our body, but if we get too much, it can have a lot of negative effects on our system.

Artificial Sweeteners

In addition to all the other chemicals they contain, artificial sweeteners have neurotoxins which excite your brain cells to death. That can cause brain decline.

Rancid Oils

Many of the vegetable and seed oils we consume on a regular basis go rancid inside the body, which creates congestion in the cells.

I think that these rancid oils are a bigger deal than sugar in America because of what they do to your heart and your overall health.

Blue Light

Blue light exposure from electronics keeps you awake at night, disrupting your sleep.

Some of you fall asleep with the TV on, or the last thing you’re doing is looking at your phone.

If you don’t have a filter on that, the blue light is overstimulating and burning adrenals, creating stress which then has negative health impacts.

Processed Foods

Processed foods frequently contain monosodium glutamate (MSG), which is another neurotoxin that excites brain cells to death.

20-40 years ago, these foods didn’t exist, and your elders ate whatever they wanted and were usually fine. This is because they didn’t spend 50-60 years in toxicity.

Cells Are Like A Bucket

Imagine every cell in your body like a bucket. Toxins get into your cells, and they compete for space with the nutrients that you need.

Your cells need to drain out all of the toxicity in them so they can get vitamins and nutrients.

When you ingest things like rancid oils, it spills a lot of chemical exposure into your system.

This leads to an explosion of autoimmune diseases and oxidative damage to your blood vessels and heart.

This is what can cause plaque buildup in your brain that can lead to conditions such as Alzheimer’s and dementia.

This is also what damages your insulin receptors and sugar processing in your body, leading to metabolic syndrome, and bogging down your kidneys.

Summary

This spillover is what creates a lot of the health problems that are lowering life expectancy, and there are things I teach that can help you reduce the amount of it.

You can do an intracellular detox to start clearing some of these things out of your cells.

But I think the biggest place to start is by looking at how you shop. I have a guide, Make Detox Simple, that will walk you through what’s in your house that’s causing toxicity issues.

Everything is broken down in the guide, even how to improve your house’s air quality by using plants.

I also encourage you to check out this video I made where I go to the grocery store and show you key hacks to make healthier choices while shopping.

This is going to help you reduce toxicity and herbicides, and ultimately raise your life expectancy.

You’re not only getting a higher quantity of years, but a higher quality of years as well.
