Roasted Brussel Sprouts in Black Bowl over Slate

  • 1 bag of fresh or frozen sprouts (if fresh, cut end off and cut in half)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic powder (to taste)
  • Optional toppings: parmesan cheese or balsamic vinegar


  1. Toss the brussels sprouts with olive oil and seasoning. 
  2. Spread them out and bake at 425 degrees F until tender or until they start to brown. 
  3. Approximately 30 minutes. 
  4. Broil them at the end for a crispier texture.
