How to Get a Great Deal on Healthy Burgers at Walmart
Share
If there’s one thing to change when it comes to your diet, it’s your meat, because there are so many chemicals, hormones, and antibiotics that end up in today’s meat.
I’m going to go over some great options I found at Walmart, and give you tips on what to look for when choosing beef.
If you’re thinking about eating impossible meat instead, I’m going to show you why that might be a bad idea.
I’m also going to show you a mystery meat that might actually be really good for you!
$5 Beef
At Walmart, I found some super-affordable beef with no added hormones and no added antibiotics.
This means the cow was fed grass and wasn’t introduced to something that was man-made.
Free-range cattle are raised on pastures where they’re able to roam free and graze, which produces deliciously-tender meat.
We want to make sure that the cows the meat came from were not only started with a grass diet, but were finished with the grass.
Some beef products come from cows that had a 20%-grain diet, but are still still called grass-fed.
That’s a problem, because a cow has multiple stomachs that are designed to eat grass.
Cows can survive on grain, but when you feed them too much of it, they start getting sick because their bodies can’t process all of the chemicals and sugar.
Then they’re given antibiotics and hormones to keep them healthy for market.
This is why you need to look for meat from farms and producers that are fighting to give you quality meat so you don’t end up being fed toxins.
Normally you’d find beef like that for $6-8, but it can be found for around $5 at Walmart.
You can also buy the same brand’s organic beef for just $2 more!
Beyond Burger & Impossible Burger
If you don’t eat meat, you may be wondering if it’s a good idea to eat impossible meat.
If you flip a Beyond Burger package over and look at the ingredients label, it’s made with water, pea protein, and expeller-pressed canola oil, which is a rancid oil.
Canola oil is made with rapeseed, and when that’s processed and heated to become an oil, it becomes denatured, and that ends up in you.
You have a layer of fat around every single one of your cells, and that fat has to come from somewhere.
If you eat unhealthy fats, they’re going to congest your cells so that you can’t detox properly and release fat from your body. This could be the reason you’re so congested or have cholesterol and weight issues—you’re eating the wrong types of fat!
Impossible Burger is made with water, soy, sunflower oil, and coconut oil.
Coconut oil is a better form of oil, but sunflower oil is a no-go unless it’s organic. Like corn and canola oils, sunflower oil is rancid.
Soy is genetically modified.
Now we have a genetically-modified organism that was sprayed with chemicals, and added bad oils, which is a bad mixture.
It also has yeast extract, or MSG, which has been shown to excite your brain cells to death.
It gets you excited to eat more of it, but eating too much of it kills your brain cells.
If you’re not going to eat meat, just don’t eat meat—don’t try to pretend.
Mystery Meat
The mystery meat I’d recommend trying is lamb.
It is more expensive, but it’s a great option if you want to mix up what you’re grilling.
Lambs are grass-fed naturally, which is what I love about it.
The brand that I found also never adds anything like hormones to the sheep, which is a good sign.
It’s minimally processed, with no artificial ingredients, which means they’re paying attention to taking better care of the animal.
Summary
Walmart has fantastic prices on beef.
You save a lot when it comes to your grocery bill, and you’re avoiding a lot of the toxins that are making Americans sick.
