3 Motivations To Change Your Week
Share
Sometimes, it can seem like you may never meet the goals you’ve set for yourself. Maybe the struggle feels like it’s too much to handle, and you’d like to just give up and quit.
Did you know that out of the people who set goals, only around 6% end up reaching them?
I know that getting to your goal isn’t always smooth sailing; there are often many bumps in the road before you get to where you need to be.
To help you along your journey to real health, no matter where you may be, here is a little bit of inspiration to keep going and stay motivated.
1. Change Comes From Continuous Struggle and Effort
In science, there’s a term called entropy. This refers to the amount of change happening around you and within you.
Change isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but when left unchecked, it can cause disorder.
Disorder is something that you don’t need in your daily life, which is why you have to put in the effort to maintain order and keep the change happening around you in a positive way.
As you work towards your goals, no matter what they may be, you’re going to have to struggle in order to create the change that you want to see.
2. Don’t Become Complacent
It’s very easy to become complacent when you’re comfortable with where you are. Perhaps you’ve met your short-term goals or have even reached your longer-term goals.
When you see the progress that you’ve made, your instinct is to take a break and enjoy the view.
However, you can’t let yourself become complacent.
When you reach your goals, set new goals, and keep setting your sights higher and higher.
Health is a lifelong commitment, and it doesn’t stop when you get to where you want to be.
You and your needs are changing every day, and so should your goals.
3. Keep Moving Forward
“Keep moving forward” is something that everyone can apply to themselves in their lives.
When life throws you an impossible curveball and it feels like you’re not getting anywhere, you just have to keep moving forward.
It doesn’t matter how much you move. Even if you’re just inching a little closer each day, that’s measurable progress that will help you reach your goals.
As long as you keep moving, you are going to go farther than those that have already given up.
When it feels hopeless and like you’re not making progress, just remember that you’re in this for the long haul, and there’s nothing wrong with pacing yourself.
Make Sure You’re Soaring To New Heights Today!
The majority of people who set goals for themselves will give up and won’t see their goals come true.
Don’t let this be you.
Remember that you’re not alone in this journey, and that there’s a whole community of people here to support you.
