Epstein-Barr Virus: Symptoms and Natural Solutions
Share
You may not have heard of the Epstein-Barr virus, but you might have it in your system, and oftentimes it never leaves.
When you first contract it, you’ll have swollen lymph nodes, nausea, and fatigue.
It stays dormant in your body for a long time, and some people never express symptoms of the virus.
Epstein-Barr is also highly contagious, and it’s estimated that 200 million Americans have the virus currently inside of their system. So it’s safer to assume that you could have this, and take steps to get rid of it and reduce the symptoms.
Because it may not ever leave your body, if you have it, you just have to keep it at bay.
If the virus stays in your system unaddressed, it could become an autoimmune nightmare, like Hashimoto’s Disease, a virus in the thyroid.
There are viruses like that that create autoimmune responses where the thyroids are a victim, not the cause.
This is the same case for diseases such as:
- Lupus
- Sclerosis
- Celiac disease
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Type I diabetes
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- Juvenile idiopathic arthritis
- Certain types of cancer
- Anemia
- Hepatitis
- Liver problems
So the Epstein-Barr virus is floating around in 200 million of us, it can lead to cancers, and no one is talking about it.
If you’re unsure if you have the virus, you can get blood tests to check, such as testing your general antibodies. If your longer-term antibodies show that you’ve been fighting off a virus, it may be Epstein-Barr.
You can also get Epstein-Barr virus tests, but you’ll have to talk with your health practitioner to understand how to properly test for it.
This test may only show if the virus is currently active in your system; if it’s dormant, you may test negative even if you do have it
If you are struggling with the Epstein-Barr vrus, here are 6 natural remedies that you can use to alleviate its symptoms.
Vitamin C
PubMed research shows that high doses of vitamin C lowers the viral load of Epstein Barr and its symptoms.
High doses of vitamin C are around 6,000-8,000 milligrams a day. During the periods where you experience symptoms, I recommend 1,500-2,500 milligrams per day.
This will also prevent bowel intolerance, meaning your stool will flush straight through you. You want to make sure you’re absorbing vitamin C, not expelling it.
Zinc
Zinc inhibits viral replication. This is true of all common viruses–to fight them, we need to increase the zinc.
In order to get zinc into the cells to stop viruses from replicating, you should also be taking quercetin, which is part of my Livingood Daily Vitamin C.
Quercetin helps zinc get into the cells, and vitamin C helps quercetin do that. All three of them work together.
You can find all 3 of these together in my one supplement, Livingood Daily Allergen Support.
Beta-Glucan
Beta-glucan is often talked about when it comes to cholesterol, but it’s also a powerful immune-regulating agent that can help reduce inflammation.
Beta-glucan is the stuff in oatmeal that lowers cholesterol. I wouldn’t recommend eating oatmeal to get beta-glucan, though, because it contains a lot of sugar. Instead, you should take it by itself.
One of the best ways to get beta-glucan in your system is through a full dose of my Livingood Daily Greens. You can add it right into a smoothie, and get an entire container for 50 bucks on Amazon or on my website.
Monolaurin
Monolaurin is a lipid extract from coconuts that has powerful antiviral, antibacterial, and antipathogenic effects, especially against Epstein-Barr.
If you’re struggling with the Epstein-Barr virus, monolaurin is something you should be taking on a daily basis.
I also recommend adding in oil of oregano with it. You don’t have to buy them separately, which would cost you twice as much. Instead, you can find them both in my Oregano Oil + Monolaurin supplement here.
Silver Serum
Silver serum is a form of colloidal silver and is an antiviral agent. My serum is a trademarked ingredient where the silver is implanted into the structure of water so it doesn’t fall out of solution.
Why does that matter? If the silver falls out of solution, it can go anywhere in your body and create negative side effects.
Silver serum will help you in the active stage of Epstein Barr, but not so much during the chronic stages. If you’re taking it regularly, make sure to test your silver levels regularly. I suggest limiting yourself to 3 sprays per day.
Repair The Gut
Your gut is running your immune system 80% of the time, which is why we need to get it into check by doing a gut reset.
This involves 30 days of cleansing microbes from your body, including Epstein-Barr, parasites, and other microbes. You’re flushing those out and knocking them down with specific herbs.
You’re detoxing the liver and kidneys, rebuilding the gut with good foods, and repopulating good bacteria to give your immune system its strength back.
If you need a good place to start, grab the Livingood Daily Book, which will help you change your lifestyle.
As a Livingood Daily Lifestyle member, you get access to things like the advanced gut reset and other resources that will help you understand the cause of your health problems, and start living good.
