If you’re like most people, you probably don’t give detoxing much thought. But what if I told you that detoxing is one of the most important things you can do for your health? 

It’s true! Detoxing helps your body get rid of the toxins and pollutants that can cause all sorts of health problems. If you think you might be overdue for a detox, here are five warning signs that indicate you need one.

Can’t Lose Weight

If you can’t lose weight, it’s a sign that you have too much toxicity in your body. When you hold on to all of those toxins, it causes a rebound effect where your body stores the toxins as body fat.

Difficulty losing weight is a good sign that it’s time for you to detox your body. You may not lose weight without effort, but if you’re currently working towards weight loss and nothing’s happening, too much toxicity could be a cause.

Bloating & Pain

If you’re experiencing pain in your digestive system or joints, it can be a sign that you need to detox.

This is because your body is accumulating toxins, which build up and create pain.

Skin Issues

The skin issue could be eczema, psoriatic, psoriasis, or perhaps your face or body is just breaking out with acne. If your digestive system can’t eliminate all of the stored-up toxins in your body, they come up through the skin.

Decreased Energy Levels

If you feel fatigued or tired often, it could be a sign that your body is worn down from toxins and needs a detox. 

Washing excess toxins out allows that energy to be freed up so it can start to heal and energize you instead of dragging you down.

Getting Sick Often

If you find that you are getting sick often, especially during cold and flu season, it could be a good idea to detox in preparation for those seasons.

If you’re in the middle of the cold season, you should try to flush things out. Especially if you’re taking a lot of medications that deplete your immune system.

A simple 3-day juice cleanse or detox can crank up your immune system and prevent illness.
