Every day, I get hundreds of messages asking what vitamins, supplements, or strategies are the best solution for any given situation. Whether colds, chest pain, or brighter skin: our health ultimately comes down to what we provide our body.

So I put together a simple guide to answer the most common questions I receive to help you get the most out of supplements!

Q1: Should I Take Vitamins While Fasting?

Absolutely! I take mine in the morning and evening, regardless of fasting. Most supplements don’t need food for absorption, with the exception of B vitamins, which might cause slight nausea on an empty stomach.

Q2: If I could only take (x) supplements, what should they be?

What supplements you take should be determined by what you lack most in your day-to-day diet.

For example, if you live up north where going outside during the winter is not always practical, picking up a high concentrated Vitamin D supplement may be your best bet, as you can’t get it naturally through sunlight.

Vegans and vegetarians may struggle to get the omegas they need as they’re most commonly found in fish, etc.
